I ran out of the old type of the cat food and I’m trying to get my cat to switch to a new food because I’ve recently learned that science diet food is crappy. I was wondering if I bought the new type of the food she’s used to, would she still eat that so I could mix the new food with it?
garnetcobriana- That’s why I’m switching to a new food. I just need to mix the new food so my cat will eat the better food that I’ve already bought her. Didn’t you read the details?

Don’t buy science diet at all. Science diet is crappy, but science diet cat food is even crappier than the dog food. I work at a pet store so I study the quality of pet foods every day. If you want your cat to be happier, healthier, and live longer, switch to a better food pronto.

Royal canin, performatrin, wellness, nutro, are all 1st grade or 2nd grade foods. Waaaay better than what your buying now.
I’m sure there are more, but I only know in depth the types that we carry at the store.

He’s an orange tabby and the sweetest cat ever! Also when we got him the diet food, he threw a fit and ran away for 1 whole day!

put half his normal food and half diet food then gradually put more diet food then his normal cat food

I’m planning on giving my dog diet food, she’s a 5 year old Siberian Husky and she’s very round. I want to give her diet food but I’m not sure if I should go to the vet and get a recommendation or just get a bag of food myself at Petco. Is it better to visit the vet or is it safe to do it yourself?

I have tried out every diet known to mankind but nothing worked as good as acai berry. I know they say that pills don’t work, but they definitely worked for me, and they’ve been shown on CNN too. cut his food back or mix his diet food with his regural food and slowley over time take his regurlar food out you can also but his food down and if he has not ate it in 30 minutes take it up and try agian later
