    unhealthy foods that leads to type 2 diabetes, and this video illustrates

  3. you do have to change your whole diet and cut out messed about food ,in
    have done this and come off gliclazide slow release meds 3 times, then fell
    to crap foods again and back on them i will do it again and stay off them.

  7. I cured mine by 1.) Meditation, slowing down more, avoiding conflicts on
    road, in relatiohships, work, etc. work smarter not harder. This keeps the
    adrenals in check avoiding blood sugar spiking. 2.) Elminating ALL carbs,
    (grains, legumes, etc) fruit, red meat and chicken. 3.) Eliminating major
    sources of omega 6 (nuts, avocados,etc.). 4.) Eating salmon salad with skin
    every 3 hours (including early am). 5.) Using chia seed milk, hemp, flax
    (very good omega 3/6 ratio). Lemon, ginger

  9. Glycemic Index is based on faulty science. The basic chemistry they used in
    determining GI is not correct. Please see- GLYCEMIC INDEX- why it does not
    worK ? Just copy and paste into SEARCH box. Glycemic Load is based on
    DIRECT measurement of the glycemic response to a known weight of test food.
    No calculation or estimation of GI from apparent weight of contained
    CARBOHYDRATE is needed. Although the GI Researchers can’t or don’t want to
    understand this, it is a fact

    will be the next diabetes drug. Nicely, it sounds like interesting and as
    soon as you exit they suggest some primal diabetic diet which I identified

  16. Dewayne, Thank you for all of your work in helping us all. You have been
    one of my biggest sources of info during the last 6 months of my journey to
    health. I have gradually eliminated almost all of the dead foods from my
    diet. My fasting sugar was 283 back in Jan 2010. It’s now in the low 90’s
    and high 80’s. I come from an extended family of engineers and like you, we
    all have a need to know how things work. Knowlege is power and you have
    given us all the power to live a healthy life.

  17. I think the glycemic index approach is a bit over-rated. I do agree that
    the typical modern diet is loaded too heavily with really high glycemic
    index foods and we should aim to get this lower but I think it is more
    important to not eat trans fat, eat far less meat, and eat way more leafy
    greens and a rainbow variety of other veggies! Plus, avoid gmo! For more

  18. Thank you Duwayne. My mother has type 2 diabetes and she had a stroke about
    three weeks ago. Her eating habits were stuff of nightmares, and they are a
    thing of the past now. Your video definitely opened my eyes and brought to
    light the lack of awareness made available to the public especially those
    without computers or access to them. Thank you so much and I am the one
    mainly cooking for her now. She is starting to show great signs of
    improvement and I pray this will continue.
